True that. Dropped off baby at my parents today to get some time away while we shop around. I like to call it "mental health shopping".

Luckily still off for the next two weeks but dreading that day I go back.

Just put baby to bed about 30 minutes ago, likely will be hitting the bed myself here shortly.

Well, that's definitely how it's supposed to be. You cannot and dare not sleep before the baby .. She gets first attention before anyone else. It's when she have been settled, then you can have your way.

Was an absolute nightmare. She was up basically until 11:30 am and I just couldn't do it anymore so passed her off to the wife. Basically baby was up from 3am to 11am and I was just like what the hell are you doing?

Honestly, I'm glad it was now instead of when I was younger (at least financially).
