Solo Leveling

Synopsis

Ten years ago, "the Gate" appeared and connected the real world with the realm of magic and monsters. To combat these vile beasts, ordinary people received superhuman powers and became known as "Hunters." Twenty-year-old Sung Jin-Woo is one such Hunter, but he is known as the "World's Weakest," owing to his pathetic power compared to even a measly E-Rank. Still, he hunts monsters tirelessly in low-rank Gates to pay for his mother's medical bills.

However, this miserable lifestyle changes when Jin-Woo—believing himself to be the only one left to die in a mission gone terribly wrong—awakens in a hospital three days later to find a mysterious screen floating in front of him. This "Quest Log" demands that Jin-Woo completes an unrealistic and intense training program, or face an appropriate penalty. Initially reluctant to comply because of the quest's rigor, Jin-Woo soon finds that it may just transform him into one of the world's most fearsome Hunters.

I was going to make a thread on this but you beat me to it! I'm excited, really enjoyed reading it and hopeful the animators do it justice.

Saw this trailer yesterday, I'm getting super pumped about it. Doesn't really show much about the interpretation in this trailer though.

So far so good, each week is going by so slow though and it just leaves you wanting so much more. First 2 episodes were a warm up to give you an idea of what's going on, it'd be great if we also got a bit more action this week but can't say I'm surprised that his dagger is already broken. :ROFLMAO: This anime leaves you wanting more each week. I'm genuinely in love.

It's done a great job so far of sticking to the original content. Hasn't deviated at all, so far as I can tell. I know they're aiming to have twelve episodes in the first season and release it on DVD.

I was hoping for 24 episodes at least like how JJK was done but I'll live with 12. I've been enjoying it more and more every week, I've read some of the manhwa but figured I'd let the first season of the anime finish before I get too deep into the manhwa. :p

This should really be called Cliffhanger Leveling when it comes to the anime.. :ROFLMAO:
SUNG. DRIP. WOO. My man is f*cking jacked now. LMAO. His transformation has to be the transformation of all time. He's jacked and hella ripped now from those daily tasks he needs to complete. I did have a pretty bad feeling about the party he was rolling with too considering everything, and he's 100% going to beat the boss for this dungeon. Who knows if it'll be easily or if he'll struggle though.

The daily challenges reminded me a lot of the ridiculous training regimen of One Punch Man, though his is consistent and more believable. My crunchyroll account is being dumb and won't let me watch the dubbed version. While I understand anime is intended to be enjoyed in the original subbed version, some of the characters voices grate on my nerves.
