Do you prefer light or dark themes?

Personally always been a sucker for dark themes because they're much easier on my eyes but I do enjoy both depending if it's nighttime or not.

Dark theme 100%. I'm always in some sort of state of falling asleep so dark works for me. Though I do try to make my forums have a skin that has both light and dark options.

Dark 100% for me. It’s just so much easier on the eyes and easier to read.

I like dark themes more, Running a community myself I understand some like light themes. with both xenForo and Invision Community coming out with a theme switcher by default I only have to design the themes to work with my communities.

I've always been more fond of light themes, as long as the contrast isn't horrible. I like blue-ish, grey-ish colors generally.

Some dark themes are pretty nice, though I'm using the dark theme here and the colors work well with each other and nothing is too dark it seems.

Dark themes, easier on the eyes, but always best to offer both for website viewers.

From the poll, it's very obvious that most people fancy dark themes more than light theme. I can't remember the last time I used light theme in a forum that have both dark and light theme options available.
