Which anime arc do you think went on for longer than it should've?

What manga arcs do you think lasted for too long? And was it a service or disservice to the overall story?

I'm personally going to have to throw HxH Chimera ant arc. HxH is easily in my top 5 but the chimera ant arc was.. something else. I'd rather we had wrapped that up a lot sooner than what actually happened.

Dragon Ball is one anime that's well known for its long arcs and outstretched battles. This is why one of longest arcs for me in Dragon Ball would be The Frieza Saga. This ended up getting 33 episodes in Dragon Ball Z and 19 episodes in Dragon Ball Kai. It went too long more than expected in my opinion.

It was actually still making money for them to drag it on for that long. If it was a flop when it comes to meeting the money expectations, they would have cut it short now.
