The official website of the Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (The Rising of the Shield Hero) anime series announced on Monday that a fourth season is in production. The website also revealed an ultra teaser visual (pictured). Produced by Kinema Citrus, the first season aired in 25 episodes in Winter 2019. The second and third seasons aired in Spring 2022 and Fall 2023, respectively. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series with English subtitles worldwide, excluding Asia.
