The writer and director for the upcoming Naruto live-action Lionsgate movie is revealed, receiving a big endorsement from creator Masashi Kishimoto.
The highly anticipated Naruto live-action movie by Lionsgate will be written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, will both write and direct the Naruto live-action film. Cretton also serves as a co-producer along with Jeyun Munford through his company, Hisako, as well as producers Avi Arad, Ari Arad and Emmy Yu of Arad Productions. The live-action film has been in development by Lionsgate since 2015 and will be overseen by executive vice-president James Myers and creative executive Jon Humphrey.
