Production company Pony Canyon opened an official website for an anime adaptation of Rie Nishida's Tono to Inu (The Lord and the Dog) manga on Thursday. Nishida originally launched the manga on their Twitter account in November 2020 before officially beginning in the Comic Polaris web magazine in March 2021 as a short-term serialization.
