An official website opened for a television anime adaptation of Synecdoche's Elf-san wa Yaserarenai. (Plus-Sized Elf) manga on Monday, revealing the main cast and a teaser visual (pictured). The television anime is set for a 2024 premiere. Ayasa Itou (Teppen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) is starring as Erufuda. Synecdoche began drawing the comedy fantasy manga in Web Comic Gum from December 2016 to May 2021. Akita Shoten shipped the eighth and final volume in November 2021.
