The official website of the Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru. (Gods' Game We Play) television anime series revealed additional cast, staff, theme songs artists, and the first promotional video on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to air in April 2024.

AliA (Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi.) is performing the opening theme "NewGame." Hina Tachibana (Oshi ga Budoukan Ittekuretara Shinu) will perform the ending theme "I'm GAME!." The opening theme song is previewed in the promotional video below.
Tatsuya Shiraishi (Overlord II episode director) is directing the anime at LIDENFILMS. NTL is in charge of the script and series composition. Yoshihiro Watanabe (Shinmai Maou no Testament) is designing the characters. Gin (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san) is composing the music.
Sazane began penning the game-themed fantasy novel on the Kakuyomu website in September 2020. Kadokawa began printing the series through its MF Bunko J label in January 2021, featuring illustrations by Toiro Tomose. The seventh volume shipped on July 25.
Monthly Comic Alive began serializing a manga adaptation by Kapiko Toriumi in August 2021. Kadokawa published the second volume on April 21.
