Do you prefer swords/blades or guns in an action anime?

Which weapon of choice do you prefer when it comes to anime?

Honestly, always found that the animations towards swords/blades generally look better but I think it also depends on the structure of the anime and how the setting is. Obviously if it's some sci-fi world in the future, you'd expect guns to be more prevalent.

Personally, I would prefer swords/blades in an anime content because I love the kind of connection it gives me with ancient times. But it's not bad to have a mixture of both swords/blades and guns as well. It's like how they did it the Blue Eye Samurai.
