What is the anime that started it all for you?

Ranma 1/2, quickly followed by a fan fiction that introduced me to Tenchi Universe by the character Kiyone.

The whole toonami lineup pretty much, including DBZ, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin. Though dragonball is the primary one. Roleplayed on DBZ forums for over a decade because of it.

Yu-Gi-Oh is the first and primary anime I have watched in my lifetime. I have seen bits and pieces of other animes, but not complete seasons like I have Yu-Gi-Oh.

It was definitely Char's Counterattack that started it for me when it comes to watching anime back in days during the 80's. It was a great deal among all anime fans that I knew back then.

naruto. before that, it was kiki's delivery service and pokemon, but i didn't really understand that those were anime and so i didn't really branch out... until naruto. THEN i realized what anime was.

I can say that almost every anime fan and lover never missed out on watching Naruto. It's one of the biggest anime under the franchise.

Pokemon is what got me interested in anime! I remember watching the Indigo League, and of course shortly after I got interested in the video games. Then after Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh was another anime that got me interested in anime.

Pokémon is a very big franchise and the same thing can also be said about Yu-Gi-Oh. Although, I had better experience with Pokémon, but Yu-Gi-Oh never disappointed me any day.
